Sat 13 June
**NO WORK PARTY**
Nature Discovery Walk with the National Trust rangers at Sullington Warren 10:00-12:00
Meet on the central Green at 9.45am. Look for the National Trust vehicle. National Trust rangers Lee and Caroline, who lead our conservation mornings, will take us on a walk around Sullington Warren. Come and discover lots of interesting things about the flora and fauna that thrives here, and past and present conservation projects.
Refreshments provided at the end of the walk. No charge for the event and all welcome.

Sat 27 June 
Sandgate Park woods 10:00 – 12:00
Pulling Himalayan balsam along the stream from Sandgate Lane to the hidden pond and clearing paths of bramble and bracken in that area. Please wear clothing to protect from biting insects and waterproof footwear as we will be working in a boggy area.
Meet by the benches at the heather mound near Sandgate Lane entrance to the woods, opposite the twitten from Hillside Road.
Tools, gloves and refreshments provided.
All welcome. Under 18s accompanied.

Sat 11 July
**NO WORK PARTY**
Tree Discovery Walk at Sandgate Park with Bob Epsom from the Woodland Trust 10:00-12:00

Meet 9:45am at the benches by the heather mound in Sandgate Park, near the Sandgate Lane entrance to the woods.
Come and learn more about the wonderful trees we have in Sandgate Park and meet people. After the walk there will be an opportunity to train in Ancient and Veteran Tree Recording methods to enable you to get involved with the Woodland Trust’s Ancient Tree Inventory. No charge for the event and all welcome.

Bracken cutting around the scrape pond or near the dry heathland.
Meet by the benches at the heather mound near Sandgate Lane entrance to the woods, opposite the twitten from Hillside Road.
