If you go for a walk on Sullington Warren you are likely to come across one of these splendid new picnic benches.

The one above is near the windmill shaft. The one below is along side the fire drive from Water Lane, at the Water Lane end.

Both benches have a sign attached that tells you that the benches are made from the pines that were felled on the Warren during the winter as part of the work to restore the heathland on this Site of Special Scientific Interest. These sturdy benches have been built by our local National Trust ranger and his group of volunteers

Hopefully, good use will be made of these magnificent picnic benches.
