Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held on Wednesday 23rd May at 7.30pm at Sullington Parish Hall. The meeting shall receive the annual report from the Chair and the statement of accounts from the Treasurer. Votes shall be taken on those trustees seeking re-election and on any members seeking election to the Trustee Committee.
The Society is currently seeking a new chair of its Trustee Committee and would welcome a new trustee onto the committee to take on that role. Members seeking election to the trustee committee must be nominated by another member and all nominations must be received by the Secretary at least 21 clear days before the AGM. Please note persons may be disqualified from holding the post of charity trustee for certain reasons. For guidance on eligibility and what the role entails please check here.
Constitution (Governing Document)
An updated Constitution document was presented to the membership for adoption at the AGM on 24th May 2017. This updated Constitution had been accepted by the trustees and approved by the Charity Commission and the TCV (The Conservation Volunteers – previously the BTCV). The membership present at the AGM approved the updated Constitution document. The new Constitution document can be found here.
The annual newsletter was delivered to members in April. If you have not received your newsletter for 2017 please let the Secretary know.

We email members with details of upcoming talks, social events and the AGM. If you are not receiving emails from us then it is because we do not have an email address for you or we have an incorrect email address for you. If this is the case and you would like to receive emails from the Society then just let us know.
Our archive holds extensive documents, newsletters and plans which go back to the Society’s very early days. These are available to any member who is interested in seeing them. For details of the range of material available then please contact John Dugnolle at email@example.com
On-line Archive Project
We are undertaking a project to put as much as of our archive material on-line as we can. These will mainly be our newsletters. It will be a long process but it should make available material that may be of interest to local naturalists and historians.
