Come along and help take care of this Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The plan for this Saturday is to mostly do some pine pulling on the wet heath area of the Warren.
Please wear appropriate clothing.  With the recent heavy rain the wet heath area is likely to be wet underfoot so waterproof footwear will probably be a good idea.   Also, bring some refreshments for the mid-morning break.
Any necessary tools will be provided but it is recommended that you bring your own gloves.
Our local NT ranger, Lee, will be back with us this Saturday.
Start time is 09:30 – please be prompt.
Meet at the picnic bench near the Water Lane fire access gate (where there is a pile of pine tree trunks).
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult unless by prior arrangement.
Please check the Sandgate Conservation Society Facebook page and/or website in case of any last minute cancellation.
Finish at 12 noon.
