
FAMILY CONSERVATION SESSION
Sullington Warren

Together with the National Trust and Lost Woods https://www.lostwoods.org.uk/ the Society welcomes you to join us for this special conservation session aimed at engaging young people and families with this stunning heathland and woodland site. An opportunity to get hands on with meaningful conservation work that will help maintain and improve the site, which is an SSSI and full of natural and cultural heritage.
The session will be led by a local National Trust ranger and we will be doing scrub clearance near the Green. Tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing.
Well known local nature expert Michael Blencowe has put together a ‘Spotter’s Guide’ sheet to help you identify what you can see on Sullington Warren. Come along and get your copy of this to take home and keep.
All welcome. Children need to be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Green on Sullington Warren. Look out for the National Trust vehicle which will be parked at meeting point.
